The back is knit first with short rows to shape the shoulders. Stitches are picked up at the shoulders to knit each front to the lower edge of the neck opening. Stitches are picked up along the neck opening for the vertical plackets, then stitches are picked up to knit the collar. Right and left fronts are then joined to knit the front to the
