Peru. An Order Of The Cross For Military Merit, Grand Officer's Star Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic marked “26” for “B(Cruz Peruana al Mrito Militar). Instituted in 1949. In silver gilt and enamel, red enameled cross, five points in each quadrant, the obverse centerpiece featuring a relief portrait of Colonel Francisco Bolognesi, circumscribed by the inscription CRUZ PERUANA AL MERITO MILITAR, as well by a green enameled wreath, the reverse inscription reads COLONEL FRANCISCO BOLOGNESI, pin assembly, 78. 9 mm, enamels intact, light gilt wear, extremely fine.
